MICHAEL (MIKE) TOBIASON has been performing personal, small business and corporate tax returns, business valuations, litigation support and other business consulting services for over 30 years. Mike has extensive experience in working with a wide variety of tax issues across many different industries and states. Mike started his career with the international firm of KPMG in the audit area then joined the firm of Anderson ZurMuehlen in Montana where he was a Shareholder, member of its Board of Directors, office Partner In Charge and Director of the firm’s Business Valuation/Litigation services. Most recently Mike served as the VP of Finance, Secretary and Treasurer for an internationally owned vertical farming operation in Las Vegas. Mike’s diverse experiences in the public accounting profession and the private sector provided him valuable insights to the multitude of issues you and your business face.  A frequent speaker on topics of leadership development, succession planning and strategic planning, Mike enjoys working with individuals and businesses in creating highly successful processes that ensure lasting results and protection of family wealth.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting from Montana State University. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and Certified Value Growth Advisor (CVGA), Mike has pursued continuing professional education through the Montana Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and through courses sponsored by previous employers. Course topics have included valuation and litigation support, auditing and financial statement preparation, business and individual taxation, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, transactional structures, alternative exit strategies, and more.Mike’s ABV and CVA designations signify an individual is qualified, through academic and practical experience and upon the successful completion of rigorous training and testing, to meet the high standards and professional expertise required by the AICPA and NACVA for providing business valuation services.
